Celebrity fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala shares her watermelon banana smoothie recipe on Instagram.

Nothing tastes better on a hot summer’s day than fresh snowballs from the freezer. But, have you ever tried the healthiest fruit drink? Well, fruit sorbet is pretty much summer perfection.

A sorbet is a frozen dessert made of sugar-sweetened water with a flavor – usually fruit juice. Not only is it cooler in the midst of the humid monsoon season but it’s also a healthy, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan option!

The humidity of the rainy season requires something that can keep us cool while also proving to be healthy. To meet these challenging requirements, celebrity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala reveals the perfect dessert recipe.

Jasmine shared in her latest Instagram post a recipe for a banana and watermelon syrup and we have to admit, it looks absolutely delicious!

Without further ado, let’s move on to the recipe:

This is what you need:

200 gm frozen watermelon

100g frozen banana

Few sprigs of basil

(Optional: you can add a few drops of lemon)

directions:
  • Add the frozen watermelon and banana to the blender.
  • Add a few sprigs of basil and mix well.
  • Freeze the mixture for 5 hours.
