- 250g boiled sweet potato
- 50 gm soaked soy granules
- 100g broccoli (grated)
- 50g moong dal (soaked and ground)
- 10g minced garlic
- 10g chopped ginger
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon chat masala
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
- Rock salt to taste
- 5 cubes of low-fat cheese
- Extra virgin coconut oil / margarine just for greasing the pan
Made this delicious dish
Step 1: Take a bowl and add sweet potatoes, soybeans, grated broccoli, muong dal paste, garlic, ginger, chili pepper, cumin, chaat masala, garam masala, coriander, and salt. Now, mix these ingredients well and make a paste.
Step 2: Use the dough to make small round structures (that resemble a ball) and create a groove to insert the low-fat cheese cube. Close the cavity with some of the dough you made.
Step 3: We take a non-stick frying pan and put it on a medium heat and brush it with a little coconut oil or ghee.
The fourth step: Once the oil is hot and sizzling, start cooking your tiki. Once golden on both sides, take it out of the skillet and serve hot with green sauce or curd.
Advice: You can also use the microwave or oven at home to bake delicious cheese bites using the same ingredients and dough making steps.
