The health benefits of this cake
Chickpeas and peanut butter base ingredients are an excellent choice because they contain solid nutrients. Chickpeas are a rich source of proteins, vitamins, minerals, and fiber, and help with weight management and digestion. On the other hand, peanut butter is full of protein, magnesium, and fiber, which can help reduce body fat content, blood pressure, and improve heart health.
Jasmine also uses dark chocolate because it is an exceptionally healthy option to satiate her sweet cravings. Dark chocolate is full of antioxidants, magnesium and iron and supports in lowering inflammation, levels of bad LDL cholesterol and blood pressure. This delicious treat is also helpful in reducing risk factors for heart disease.
Replacing sugar with jaggery is also a great tip from Yasmin because jaggery (jour) provides a variety of health benefits. Jaggery removes toxins from the body, aids digestion, and helps fight cold and cough.
