Treat yourself to sweets with this guilt-free Jasmine Karachi Brownie recipe

 

Celebrity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala shares a healthy chocolate chip brownie recipe for all those who love sweets but also want to eat healthy!

We often look for healthy alternatives to sweets and try different recipes to satisfy them. However, most recipes or packaged sweets contain sugar and preservatives, which may please your taste buds, but will negatively affect your health.

To help you out, we have celebrity fitness trainer Yasmine Karachiwala. She has worked with celebrities like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone and often shares fitness secrets and healthy recipes with her Instagram followers. Recently, she shared a recipe for “Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Brownie”.

This is what you will need to make brownies
  • 1 cup soaked chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup jaggery syrup
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Here’s how you can make these delicious and nutritious brownies

Step 1: Grind chickpeas, peanut butter, jaggery, almond flour, salt, cinnamon and baking powder together.

Step 2: Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add some dark chocolate chips and fold the mixture until it is properly combined.

Step 3: Pour the mixture into an oven tray and line it with parchment paper. Now, use a spoon to spread it on all four sides of the pan and make sure to smooth the top.

Then Jasmine asks her followers to add more chocolate chips, so why not?

Step 4: Finally, preheat the oven and bake the mixture at 160°C for 30 minutes.

The health benefits of this cake

Chickpeas and peanut butter base ingredients are an excellent choice because they contain solid nutrients. Chickpeas are a rich source of proteins, vitamins, minerals, and fiber, and help with weight management and digestion. On the other hand, peanut butter is full of protein, magnesium, and fiber, which can help reduce body fat content, blood pressure, and improve heart health.
