Things you will need:
- 6 ripe red tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons basil leaves (finely chopped)
- Half a teaspoon of sugar
- Half a teaspoon red pepper powder
- Salt, to taste
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- ¼ 1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon tomato sauce (store bought)
- Half a tablespoon of butter

Here’s how to prepare tomato sauce:
Step 1: Slit the bottom of the tomatoes slightly (mark an x), and add them to the boiling water.
Step 2: Close the pot and let it boil for 3-4 minutes or until the skin begins to separate from the tomatoes.
Step 3: Follow it up by peeling the peel of the tomatoes once they cool completely.
The fourth step: Take 3-4 peeled tomatoes and mix them to make a fine puree.
Fifth step: Chop the remaining tomatoes and discard the seeds. Transfer the chopped tomatoes to a separate plate.
The Sixth Step: Next, heat the oil in a nonstick frying pan or saucepan. Add the chopped garlic in the pan and stir it until it turns slightly golden brown. Follow this up by adding chopped onions, and fry until golden brown.
The seventh step: Add chopped tomatoes and seeds to the onions and garlic, and cook until soft.
The Eighth Step: Add pre-prepared tomato puree, mix basil, sugar, chili powder, oregano, chili flakes, and salt.
Step 9: Mix the puree and other ingredients well, and let the sauce boil.
Step 10: Cover the sauce and let it simmer for at least 5-10 minutes or until the sauce thickens. Add store-bought tomato sauce and butter to the batter, mix well and the sauce is ready!
