Moreover, a study involving eight participants showed a 13% increase in calorie burning and a two-fold increase in fat burning, thanks to coffee consumption! Amazing, isn’t it?
2. It can lift your mood
The caffeine in cold coffee can also help lift your mood, especially if you are sleep deprived. A review of studies in more than 370,000 people found that those who drink coffee had lower rates of depression. Moreover, research indicates that for every cup of coffee consumed daily, the risk of depression is reduced by eight percent.
3. It may be easier on your stomach
Yes, we are talking about cold coffee! There are many people who do not drink coffee because it causes GERD. The chances of developing indigestion and heartburn increase when consuming hot coffee. Moreover, cold coffee contains raw polysaccharide. These carbohydrates, or chains of sugar molecules, boost immunity to the digestive system and reduce intestinal irritation.
